Sourced from Maranges, at the southernmost end of the Côte de Beaune, this wine has an ample, fleshy feel. Black-plum and cherry flavors are anchored by a pert spine of acidity. It’s soft and supple in fruit profile but elegant too, accented by hints of clove, peppery spice and fine, feathery tannins. The wine is welcoming young but should hold nicely through 2033 at least.
